I need to know what your pet looks like in order to get started, so please email two or three reference photos of your pet to:

Once your reference photos are received I will then begin working on some initial sketches to send your way.

Note: reference photos of your dog or cat taken from different angles showing their markings from both sides is ideal if you want the markings to come our right in the final piece.

About the Portrait Setting

Most of my portraits are composed in a thoughtfully designed environmental setting, similar to a beautiful vacation-home or AirBnB atmosphere that creates an ideal visual scene.

If you would prefer your pet to be shown in a specific place in your own home - such as a favorite chair, sofa, dog bed, or window spot - please include clear photos of that location by itself in addition to the photos of your pet.

What Happens Next

Within a few working days of receiving your photos, I will have prepare a few initial sketch concepts and will then send them to you for review. From there you will choose the one you like the most and direct me to move forward on the creation of the piece based on the composition seen in that initial sketch.

Payment Timing

Note that no payment is due at this stage.
You will not receive an invoice until you have selected the sketch of your choice and have confirmed that you would like me to move forward with the creation process.
